EY Big Mass Hiring Drive: EY Techathon 6.0 will be the top campus innovation competition from Ernst & Young, designed to highlight India’s best young minds as well as their bold concepts for change. Since its inception in the year 2020, Techathon has become one of the nation’s most awaited student contests, fostering imagination, creativity and collaboration across all disciplines.
What is Techathon 6.0?
The Techathon 6.0 allows participants to investigate the cutting-edge topic of Agentic AI, which is an evolution from automation towards autonomous and goal-directed AI systems. The theme encourages students to develop imaginative AI solutions that can transform industries and speed up the digital transformation of India.
The year is 2009, and the Techathon Collaboration includes major industry players like ABFRL, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Firstsource, and Tata Capital. They will be providing students with mentoring from business leaders as well as actual-world scenarios.
Who Can Participate?
- It is open to undergraduate and postgraduate Students (full-time as well as part-time) all over India.
- Participants from all streams or specialities are welcome.
- Teams can be comprised of as many as five members ,with cross-disciplinary collaborations and cross-college collaborations being allowed.
- Participants must be Indian citizens who reside in India and must be over 18 years of age as of the date of participation.
- Each student is only part of a single team.
Competition Structure & Key Dates
- Round 1: Executive Summary Submission
Teams must submit a short answer summary in the format of a PPT on or before October 19th 2025. The earlier submission date is suggested to prevent last-minute delays. - Round 2: Detailed Presentation Submission
Teams that are shortlisted submit a thorough description of their proposal’s nature, scope, application of technology, and the impact of their innovation. The presentations are delivered via video to EY top management, with a presentation of 8 minutes and 7 minutes of questions and answers. - Round 3: Semi-Final Presentations
Finalists will be presented before a panel of EY executives and industry experts and have the opportunity to receive guidance and refinement. - Round 4: Grand Finale
In person, the finalists present their ideas to EY’s top management and an external jury for the chance to win awards and recognition.
Mentorship & Rewards
The top teams receive expert guidance through EY and industry experts to prepare them for their final presentation and help them overcome the challenges of development.
The prizes and money awarded are:
- Winner: INR 3,00,000. pre-placement Interview (PPI) chances
- Runner-Up: INR 2,00,000 + PPI
- People’s Choice Award
- Opportunities for internships and participation certificates for all participants
