Eaton Off Campus Hiring: Are you a BE/B.Tech student of Computer Science or Information Technology from 2024 or 2025 batch and are looking to start your career in an exciting and dynamic work environment? Take part in the Eaton Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) team located in Pune, Maharashtra, as an Apprentice – ER&D within the Information Technology department. As an Apprentice on the Eaton’s ER&D IT team, you will play a key part in supporting vital IT operations, including data management, process improvement, and process tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- NSR Review and Decision Support: Perform NSR reviews, keep track on action items, and support senior personnel in making decisions to ensure that operations run smoothly.
- ServiceNow Management of Data Management: Perform cleanup of data within ServiceNow and update forms, and keep accurate information about the product to ensure efficient workflows.
- Administrative and Support Activities: Help with administrative tasks by generating reports and aiding in testing integration, testing, and lower environment deployment.
- Reporting Data Cleaning: Work together with Finance, EFE, and IT teams to cleanse the data within Tenrox, TIMS, and IT Portfolio Projects, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- ProPM Data Optimizing: Clean up ProPM data in portfolios that aren’t active to improve monitoring and reports for projects.
- Automated Test Case Identification: Choose test cases that can be automated to increase efficiency and decrease manual effort.
- Knowledge Article Maintenance: Review and update knowledge articles for applications that are supported to ensure that they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Documentation Management: Review and organize documents that are stored on SharePoint as well as Teams Channels. This will help eliminate obsolete or redundant documents.
- Lean and 5S Principles: Look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes by employing lean and 5S methods.
- Automated Execution: Automate opportunities to improve procedures across the ER&D Team of IT.
- Power Apps Support: Maintenance and Support for Power Apps developed by the Engineering team, focusing on applications in which the original owner has ceased to be associated with Eaton.
- Power Apps Inventory Management: Make sure you are able to make that you are able to update your Power Apps inventory in ServiceNow to keep precise data.
- Enovia Cleanup of Data: Clean up data to support vitality reporting in Enovia to help with precise project tracking and reporting.
- AI Technology Exploration: Conduct tech landscaping on engineering tools, with a particular focus on AI-related developments to help drive the development of future-oriented solutions.

- Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology starting in 2024 or 2025 graduate batches.
