The HR Analyst in Junior Grade is a key player in ensuring smooth payroll processes for employees. This job requires the ability to work with precision, as well as strong organisational skills and a commitment to providing accurate and efficient processes for payroll. This job requires end-to-end administration of payroll, question resolution, and adhering to the law, which makes it the perfect job for anyone who is looking to advance in HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the end-to-end payroll process for employees on an annual basis, making sure of the accuracy and speed of processing.
- Validate the inputs for the attendance, leaves, overtime, and variable compensation using the HR or attendance systems.
- Calculate your salary and deduct (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), and reimbursements with accuracy.
- Create Payroll reports, payslips and statutory filings to ensure compliance.
- Update and maintain payroll records as well as employee information on the payroll system.
- Answer employee questions about salary, tax deductions and payroll-related questions promptly.
- Make sure that you comply with the statutory requirements. In addition, ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, TDS, LWF, and local labour laws.

Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degrees in HR or Business Administration, or any related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in HR processing or payroll operations (freshers with relevant internships might apply).
- A thorough understanding of the statutory Compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, LWF, etc. ).
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent time-management and organisational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills that can handle questions from employees efficiently.
- Analytical thinking with a focus on details and precision.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment.
