Role 1: Associate Analyst – Payroll Processing – USI
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
What You’ll Do
As an Associate Analyst in the Payroll Processing team at Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited, you will be essential in managing and processing payroll data with precision, confidentiality, and effectiveness. This position is ideal for those with a passion for finance and accounting, eager to bring a strong sense of responsibility and integrity to a vibrant team setting.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Managing data maintenance tasks and updating onboarding dates in the Payroll Dashboard.
- Overseeing changes to employee records throughout their employment journey.
- Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of MIS for headcount reconciliation and payroll processing.
- Coordinating and executing employee separations, transfers, and salary continuations.
- Handling loan and reimbursement settlements for departing employees.
- Addressing payroll inquiries and clarifying payroll transactions and related terminology.
- Ensuring timely execution of full and final settlements.
- Collaborating with HR operations, general ledger, and payroll teams to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Upholding adherence to PII (Personally Identifiable Information) guidelines.
What We Seek
Essential Qualifications:
- A graduate degree, ideally in finance or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in payroll or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ranging from basic to advanced skills.
- Familiarity with SAP HR systems and various accounting software.
- Typing speed of 45–50 words per minute and data entry proficiency of 7000 keystrokes per hour, with an error rate of 5% or less.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Your primary responsibilities include:
- Processing, cleaning, and transforming raw data from diverse stakeholders into actionable reports.
- Validating and auditing datasets for GTO Learning Reporting initiatives.
- Addressing stakeholder inquiries and resolving issues related to reports or data.
- Creating reports and dashboards to present insights within tight deadlines.
- Collaborating with stakeholders globally to align data insights with business requirements.
- Engaging in initiatives aimed at process improvement and data re-engineering.
- Identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and proposing enhancements to existing practices.
What We Seek
Essential Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of pertinent experience in data or business analytics.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehensive understanding of data quality and governance principles.
- Excellent logical reasoning and analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
