A Software Test Engineer Associate is expected to work in an active Product Development Team in Noida, which operates in a frantic Agile environment. The entry-level position is focused on collaborating with teams from across the functional spectrum to provide high-quality features with brief development cycles. The responsibilities include understanding the new features, planning and conducting tests, identifying the risks and helping to automate tests in the course of time. The job focuses on exploration-based testing to fully understand the product, while encouraging imagination and problem-solving skills to ensure top quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with small, multi-functional teams to develop and test important features in a few repetitions.
- Conduct exploratory tests to comprehend the product’s features and make sure its functionality can meet the requirements of users.
- Design and implement efficient testing strategies Based on the acceptance of user story requirements.
- Analyze and break up the user’s stories into testable, smaller components.
- Create and conduct tests for specific user stories for each sprint.
- Maintain and create manual test scenarios or documentation for testing scenarios that are complex.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of testing facilities to aid in quality testing efforts.
- Participate in meetings with the project team by providing technical information and identifying possible problems.
- Communicate effectively risks and problems with team members.
- Becoming an expert in the field of the products that are being evaluated.
- Participate in the testing of automation by learning programming languages when necessary.
- Record test results concisely and clearly to aid the Agile process of development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- A basic knowledge of the way websites work and function.

- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to document reasons.
- Willingness to learn programming languages for automated testing (no prior programming experience needed).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies for development is a benefit.
