Key Responsibilities

• Review, write and modify code in accordance with the specifications of the project and its technical requirements.
• Perform an analysis to determine feasibility and determine the integration requirements in software.
• Maintain and create technical documentation, which includes test plans, design plans, as well as manuals.
• Research and monitor the latest technologies, products of competitors, and the latest trends to boost product innovation.
• Collaboration in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team to validate that the applications comply with the requirements and standards.
• Utilise engineering methods, Frameworks, tools, and methodologies appropriate to the project’s scope.
• Participate in solution development and testing, debugging and process design to improve performance.
• Make a decision on your own in solving difficult technical issues and providing effective software solutions.
• Keep a consistent attendance schedule and be able to work a variety of schedules, such as weekends, nights or working overtime when needed.
• Contribute to a work environment that encourages teamwork and learning, as well as the highest level of operational excellence at every stage that involves software creation.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• A solid understanding of the fundamental programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++ or similar.
• A good understanding of the life cycle of software development (SDLC) as well as agile methods.
• The ability to create clean, flexible and well-documented code that is well-documented, clean, and scalable.
• A thorough understanding of algorithms, data structures, and the principles of software design.
• An analytical mindset that can translate technical requirements into functional components of a system.
• Experience with testing methods and systems for version control, like Git or other similar systems.
