Key Responsibilities
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will be a key part of providing excellent IT support and improving service desk operations. Your duties will be to:
- Service Desk Operation: Smooth operation and great user satisfaction by effective taking care of the IT support requests.
- User Access Control: Define and uphold user privileges to achieve higher system security and improve user access management.
- Episode Support: Call in for troubleshooting during overnights, troubleshoot to fix issues fast in order to reduce down time.
- Operational: Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement for service desk and user experience efficiencies.
- Performance Reporting: Review service desk statistics to identify areas where improvement can be made.
- Documentation: Create and update service desk procedures and user access documentation for operational continuity.
- Conformance: Maintain compliance with company policies and industry guidelines in all service desk operations.
- Mentoring: Train and mentor junior colleagues with IT service procedures and access controls.
- Problem Resolution: Collaborate with IT groups to identify and resolve complex technical problems and update systems.
- Ongoing Education: Keep current on the latest IT service technologies and strategies to help drive innovation.
- Solutions: Contribute to the development of solutions that improve user accessconfiguration management and service desk efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills
To be a successful IT Service Desk Analyst, you should possess the following:
- Technical skills: In-depth understanding of service desk and user access management functions.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively.
- Communications: Superior written and oral communication to work with global teams and deliver articulate IT support.
- Detail-oriented: Proactively reviews possible issues that could arise in a system optimization.
- Flexibility: Willingness to learn and keep up to date with IT service changes.
- Independence: Manages to work productively during night hours with less supervision.
- Security Knowledge: Has been identified to implement security protocols and make decisions keeping in mind industry regulations.
Experience as IT support or service desk manager is a nice to have, but not required. We love people who show genuine enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to stick with a problem until it’s solved.
