Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Available Positions:
Cognizant is seeking candidates for three distinct roles within its GenC program:
- GenC (Generation Cognizant): Entry-level software engineers tasked with comprehending business requirements, writing code, testing, and maintaining software applications.
- GenC Pro: Professionals with specialized knowledge in enterprise platforms and technologies such as Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, and ServiceNow.
- GenC Next: Experienced programmers with full-stack development expertise and strong coding skills in technologies such as Java, Python, .NET, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and database management.
Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Compensation Package:
- Salary Range: INR 4,00,000 – INR 6,75,000 per annum
- Compensation is based on specific roles and technical competencies.
Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Job Description – GenC:
- Analyze business requirements, document inquiries, and clarify specifications.
- Design, test, debug, and implement software in accordance with defined requirements.
- Generate test cases and comprehend data requirements.
- Engage within Agile development methodologies and adhere to SDLC processes.
- Create comprehensive low-level designs for assigned components.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Participate in technical discussions, contributing to high-quality solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and continuously enhance skills in relevant technologies.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Eligibility Requirements:
- Education: 2024 batch of B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech (excluding disciplines like Leather, Food, and Fashion Technology).
- Academic Performance: Minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th, Diploma, UG, and PG (no rounding off).
- No Active Backlogs: Candidates must not have any standing arrears at the time of joining.
- CGPA to Percentage Conversion: As per university guidelines.
- Work Flexibility: Openness to work at any Cognizant office location, in any shift, and with any assigned technology.
- Citizenship: Open to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) currently residing in India.
- Email Communication: All correspondence will be directed to the registered email ID in Superset. This email ID should remain unchanged throughout the hiring process and onboarding.

- Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Spring Boot, Spring REST, Data Structures & Algorithms
- Advanced Python, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core
GenC Pro:
Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in enterprise platforms including:
- Cybersecurity

- Salesforce

All shortlisted candidates will be allocated to the appropriate hiring category (GenC, GenC Pro, GenC Next) based on their skills and qualifications.
Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Selection Process:
- Application Submission – Candidates are required to submit their applications through the official Cognizant recruitment portal.
- Online Assessment – This stage includes a technical and aptitude evaluation that assesses logical reasoning, coding capabilities, and technical knowledge.
