Cognizant Engineering Graduate Hiring Process & Tentative Timelines
The hiring process involves multiple rounds of assessments and interviews. The tentative hiring timeline is as follows:
- Registration: Begins from February 24, 2025.
- Communication Assessment (Round 1 – Online): March 07, 2025, onwards.
- Aptitude & Technical Assessment (Round 2 – Online): March 10, 2025, onwards.
- Technical Interview (Round 3 – In-Person for GenC Next): March 11, 2025, onwards.
- Final Shortlisting & Offer Letter Issuance: March 27, 2025, onwards.
Cognizant Engineering Graduate Hiring Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be from the 2024 batch of B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. (Certain streams like Leather Technology, Food Technology, and Fashion Technology are excluded).
- Minimum 60% marks in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (no rounding off allowed).
- Candidates with standing arrears/backlogs are not eligible.
- CGPA to percentage conversion should follow university norms.
- Must be open to relocation and willing to work in any Cognizant office location and shift timings.
- Open to Indian nationals/OCIs residing in India.
Mandatory Documents for Registration
- Updated resume with a recent passport-size photograph.
- Industry-accredited certificates (if available).

- All academic documents, including college ID, mark sheets (X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG), and degree certificates.
- PAN Card (Mandatory for onboarding; details must match other official records).
- Passport/Voter ID for nationality verification.
Important Notes on Cognizant Engineering Graduate Hiring Process
- All candidates must complete Communication, Aptitude, and Technical assessments to be eligible for the technical interview.
- Prior work experience will not be considered, and all selected candidates will be onboarded as freshers.
- Candidates will be assessed on different Skill Clusters during the technical assessment:
