It is a Front End Developer position at Coalition Technologies that focuses on building efficient and optimised visually pleasing and fluid web-based experiences that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. The job entails translating imaginative ideas into high-quality code and making sure that user experiences are high-quality across devices and platforms. Candidates with strong experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and practical experience with the latest front-end technology are the ideal candidates for this job.

This position allows you to work with clients around the globe in projects that span different industries like retail, healthcare, technology and finance. This is a great opportunity for those who want to build their technical knowledge while working on large-scale digital initiatives, with the focus on results in a remote-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert complex PSD layouts into perfectly usable HTML5 as well as CSS3 Templates that can be used for front-end applications.
• Develop responsive web pages that are optimised for speed and uniformity with style.
• Make and edit WordPress, Shopify, Magento and BigCommerce themes, as well as extensions.
• Design teams can collaborate with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create internet-related images.
• Use the version control system, such as Git, as well as SVN, to manage your source code.
• Make sure you are on time, and be sure to respect deadlines for projects and the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues with the front-end, making use of Chrome’s Dev Tools, Network Panels and the Console.
• Test and then implement cross-browser compatibility features to ensure user-friendliness.
• Create simple, modular, maintainable code that conforms to web guidelines and best practices.
• Effectively collaborate with developers and designers all over the world to bring the technical execution in line with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A proficient level in the modern JavaScript (ES6plus), HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery.
• Experience with at minimum one front-end framework that’s widely used (React, Vue.js, or AngularJS).
• A working knowledge of the fundamentals of responsive design, as well as CSS media queries.
• A basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, and AJAX (preferred).
• Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Bootstrap and a variety of CSS apps.
• The concept that AI helped development tools, like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or similar tools, is used to improve workflow.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss ideas and provide positive critique.
• A focus on details and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• A positive attitude, a positive work mental attitude and the capacity to grasp new technologies quickly.
• Experience with WordPress, Magento, Shopify and BigCommerce development would be a benefit.
• Experimentation using Jira or Confluence, along with similar tools to manage projects, is highly suggested.

Additional Requirements

• Capability to work for 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm PST.
• Access to a quick and stable computer system, an unreliable internet connection, a microphone and power backup while you work remotely.
