Key Responsibilities

• Create and run automated tests to verify the performance of wireless solutions as well as network operating systems.
• Contribute in the design, development and validation of software designed for large-scale systems.
• Work with teams across functional lines to find, solve and address issues in real time.
• Learn and use Cisco’s own tools, frameworks and wireless technologies, including 802.11 standards.
• Participate in the implementation of the latest technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to enhance the testing process.
• Maintain the highest standards for software quality with strict testing and debugging practices.
• Test plans, results and procedures in order to guarantee transparency and repeatability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in writing applications written in C, C++ as well and Python.
• An understanding of the fundamentals of networking, such as IP/TCP and other protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with an acute eye for the smallest details.
• Ability to quickly grasp and use new tools, technologies, and frameworks.
• Master’s degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with different teams.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

• A familiarity with AI or Machine Learning concepts and tools.
• Experience with wireless networking technologies, like 802.11, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), or Zigbee/802.15.4.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Kotlin and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms to develop software efficiently.
• Experience gained through hands-on work hands-on experience solving problems, debugging or testing software.
• Previous experience with Software quality assurance or automated testing methods.
• The certifications include Cisco CCNA or previous experience with Cisco, as well as other network products.
