CGI Technical Analyst Recruitment Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Technical File Transfer Management:
- Establish and manage technical links according to business requirements.
- Ensure that compliance and security protocols are upheld.
- Perform comprehensive testing, execute predefined test cases, and verify accurate implementations.
- Diagnose issues, analyze failed test cases, and take corrective action.
- Technical Customer Migration:
- Oversee customer migration projects with technical expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth migrations with minimal disruption.
- Activity Reporting:
- Create informative KPIs and status reports regarding team performance.
- Maintain detailed records of build processes and testing results.
- Support Services:
- Provide Level 1 support for technical issues.
- Assist support teams in troubleshooting complex technical problems.
- Respond promptly to technical inquiries from various stakeholders.

CGI Technical Analyst Recruitment Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Required Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in File Transfer Protocols: FTPS, SFTP, AS2, PESIT.
- Strong knowledge of File Transfer Security: PGP, TLS, digital security certificates.
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with technical project management practices and tools such as Excel and Jira.
Basic Understanding Of:
- TCP/IP Networks – for effective infrastructure-level troubleshooting.
- Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) – to align with agile team workflows.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Axway CFT and SecureTransport solutions.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
