About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage scalable web apps by using ReactJS, JavaScript and various other technologies.
- Create and incorporate REST APIs and microservices in Java and Spring Boot to ensure that the backend functions run smoothly.
- Create appealing and responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and SCSS.
- Utilise Context API along with the Redux Toolkit to control the status of an application efficiently.
- Integration with Backend Developers connects with MySQL MySQL database for the best performance.
- Write reliable, clean and testable code using tools such as the React Testing Library as well as Jest for unit and integration testing.
- Participate in full participation throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), beginning with gathering requirements and concluding in deployment.
- Help to contribute to the Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture to create modular and reusable Front-end componentry.
- Work in a flexible environment, and take part in daily sprint planning, daily stand-ups, as well as retrospectives.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Ant as well and Gradle to ensure the proper distribution of code.
- Utilise the most efficient methods and use the best techniques. Use a secure Software Development Life Cycle SDLCC) to deliver safe and reliable software.

Technical Skills & Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years of hands-on programming experience using ReactJS (PL2 required) and JavaScript (PL2 mandatory).
- Expertise in Java (PL2 Mandatory), Spring Boot (PL2 Mandatory) and REST APIs (PL1 Mandatory, Mandatory).
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and SCSS to create user-friendly and easy-to-use web pages.
- Experience the power of using the Context API and Redux Toolkit to control the state of your system.
- Experience using Node.js for server-side development.
- Experience is available in the React Testing Library, Jest and other JavaScript testing libraries.
- Knowledge and utilisation of micro Frontend (MFE) architecture to create modules for applications.
- Experience in building with tools such as Maven, Ant and Gradle.
- Experience using DevOps methods, for example, CD/CI pipelines.
- Basic understanding of MySQL (PL1, essential) to integrate databases.
- Access to cloud computing platforms like PCF or Docker containers can be a huge benefit.
- Acquaintance with TypeScript (PL1 required, Optional) along with the RXJS (PL1 required) to allow the most modern JavaScript design.
- The capability to use Kubernetes (PL1 optional) is a bonus feature.
- Information about how to use the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) to ensure the security of code processes.
