About the Role
The role of Associate in ML Data Operations is to collaborate with Amazon’s Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics in automation by providing real-time and offline video- and image-based auditing services. Your work will consist of reviewing short videos (approximately 15–20 seconds) of stowers’ actions at fulfillment centers to ensure inventory accuracy via close attentiveness and human judgment. With the help of tools and resources at your disposal, you will either validate or mark the location of products accurately to ensure the quality of our automated processes.
As part of your job description, you will guarantee high accuracy and speed when auditing hundreds of videos in a working shift. Your performance will be assessed in terms of quality, productivity, and alignment with our best practices in order to reduce defects and enhance efficiency in Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate and fast video and image auditing work to enable automation programs within Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centers.
- Review and analyze short-duration videos to verify the location of products with accuracy.
- Achieve high accuracy and productivity metrics, auditing hundreds of videos daily.
- Crucially identify specifics in more blurry or slightly less sharp videos by intense focus and attention to detail.
- Achieve incremental quality and production level metrics and adhere to operational processes and guidelines.
- Operate in a 24/7 business operating hours environment, which requires shift-working including night shifts.
- For home-working associates, show flexibility to visit an office occasionally.
- Act as an effective member of the existing remote auditing team and be virtually presented during all meetings with the laptop camera.
- Ensure the work ecosystem is safeguarded with a table, chair, and proper setup to protect information privacy.

A Day in the Life
An Associate in ML Data Operations works 9 hours a day including pre-scheduled breaks in a 24/7 operational environment. Shift timings may vary every 3-4 months based on business requirements and a night shift allowance will be provided to night shift associates as per Amazon’s work policy. Enjoy two consecutive days off in a week which may not always be Saturday and Sunday to balance work and personal life effectively. In a typical day, you will be tasked with reviewing and auditing a set number of videos to ensure reported data quality in the placement of products recorded in the videos excluding additional day-to-day operational work.

Basic Qualifications
