Amazon Biggest Off Campus Recruitment – Amazon ML Challenge 2025

Amazon Biggest Off Campus Recruitment: Amazon ML Challenge is a world-class, national-level machine learning hackathon that is open to participants from engineering colleges in India. Teams will work with real-world Amazon datasets. The top 50 teams are awarded PPIs to fill Applied Scientist Intern roles at Amazon.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing full-time B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./M.S./MS by Research/Ph.D. from any engineering school in India.
• Graduation Year: 2026 or 2027.
• The size of the team is 3-4 players. Cross-college teams are permitted 1 team leader must be present.
• Each player is not allowed to be part of more than one team.

Stages & Timeline

Structure

Round 1 – ML Hackathon:

• Problem statement and the data set that is shared with all teams.
• Teams submit: (a) 1-2 page approach doc, (b) zipped code/notebook. talentd
• Teams monitor their progress on a live leaderboard.
• Private leaderboard revealed following the test (full testing set verification).

Round 2 – Grand Finale:

• The top 10 teams propose ideas that will be presented to Amazon Scientists via a virtual event.
• The judges evaluated the product on its clarity, innovation and the ability to scale.

Competition Structure

• Round 1: ML Hackathon (11-13 October 2025). Teams receive an idea of the issue and data in the beginning, and submit their solution (1-2 pages) as well as their code.
• Round 2: Grand Finale (17 October 2025). The top 10 teams present their ideas live for Amazon’s Scientists.

Rewards

Registration & Submission Process

• Sign up on the Unstop portal by October 8th, 2025.
• Create a team of 3-4 members. Choose an individual leader, and then include all the details.
• There is no registration fee to pay.
• Active leaderboards will be accessible in Round 1, and final results will be available after testing of the test dataset.
• The Top 10 Finalists are invited to make virtual presentations during The Grand Finale.
