Working in customer operations puts you at the frontline of maintaining superior customer relationships for any services that your organisation may be offering. It entails analysing damages on vehicles, creating repair quotations for listed damages, settling agreements between conflicting parties, making claims and servicing contracts, etc.
Associates working under this job title are expected to deliver meritorious services with an “eye for detail” to avoid serious financial losses by not detailing important aspects of their negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and Review Estimates: Complete full estimates of damages for insurance claims relevant to vehicles that are of moderate complexity, including cars, motorcycles, ATVs, and other recreational vehicles. Identify cost-effective solutions in part ordering.
- Investigate Claims: Examine the damage, check if the vehicle can be repaired or is a total loss; inspect the vehicle; capture relevant images, etc. All associated processes need to be done accurately.
- Negotiate Settlements: Work with repair shops to get accurate and fair agreements that satisfy all parties while adhering to Allstate’s policies.
- Document Processes: Clear claim files require the preservation of notes and evaluations alongside decision logs within the claiming system. Thus, processes must be documented.
- Manage Supplements: Claims need to be routed properly without delays in processing. Therefore, supplements must be reviewed or approved appropriately after being prepared.
- Evaluate Diminished Value: Moderately complex claims also require assessing both salvage value as well as diminished value, so there is accurate reporting on both amounts.
- Customer Communication: Vehicle status reports are required for transparent communication, so customers are updated seamlessly without friction throughout the entire process.
- Process Payments: Proper payments must also be processed by providing timely transfers once set payments for specific workflows are triggered.
Qualifications
- Education: A 4-year Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Instead of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates with a willingness to learn and grow.
