Role Overview – Software Developer (Full Stack / Backend)

This Software Developer position in Gurugram involves the development, construction and maintenance of computer systems that are designed to support massive and 24/7 travel platforms. This job offers exposure to several layers of technology and provides exposure to the real-world engineering challenges of an environment that is fast-paced environment.

• Contract type: 6-month full-time engagement
• Location: Gurugram, India
• Type of Role: Full Stack / Backend Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-quality software solutions that are aligned with the specifications of the project, along with technical requirements.
• Work with teams across functional lines to learn about the business requirements, design of systems and the details for implementation.
• Create user-facing functions using front-end technology such as React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Create and build backend services with the help of languages and technologies like C#, Scala, and Kotlin and host them on a private cloud.
• Troubleshoot, troubleshoot and improve existing systems to increase the performance, reliability, as well as scaling.
• Utilise A/B testing methods to test features and help support the design process with information.
• Create reports and analyses for business executives by using tools like Hadoop, Grafana, and similar platforms.
• Install real-time alerts and monitoring in manufacturing systems in order to assure stability and rapid emergency response.
• Be a part of code reviews, and help promote the use of clean code practices, maintenance and high engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

• New graduates are invited to apply. An ideal experience is two years in the field of software development or other related areas.
• A bachelor’s degree in any field with demonstrated programming experience or the completion of a recognised program in software engineering BootCamp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities with strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on detail.
• Understanding of the fundamental algorithms and data structures.
• Practical experience with at the very least one programming language, like Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin.

Preferred Skills and Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience using any technology for data persistence, such as RDBMS, relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL storage of data.
• Experience with the latest frontend, backend or mobile frameworks. For example, React, Vue, Angular, Kotlin, Flutter, native Android or iOS technologies, as well as C#.
• Experimentation with automated workflows for CI/CD and tools.
• A basic understanding of the concept behind test-driven development (TDD), clean software architecture and SOLID principles.
• An affluent GitHub profile, particularly with contributions to open source projects or personal repositories that demonstrate the ability to code.
