Role Overview
The jobs fall under the Custom Software Engineering division, where specialists design, construct and manage flexible software solutions that are customised to meet the requirements of the client. The positions require continual development, learning and working with multidisciplinary teams to bring about technology-driven business transformation.
A typical workday involves taking part in technical designing sessions, writing flexible features as well as connecting cloud services and APIs as well and resolving real-time problems. Professionals are also encouraged to participate by exploring the latest technologies, sharing insights from the technical, as well as contributing to the team-based design culture in dynamic teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders across functional lines to gather and analyse the requirements for software or applications.
- Contribute to the design of solutions by ensuring the scalability, maintainability and cloud-native best practices.
- Participate in discussions on technical issues and sessions to refine the architecture as well as deployment plans.
- Support for AI modelling integration and cloud automation, and containers for deployment pipelines.
- Assist in identifying any issues that arise during testing and development, as well as ensuring that troubleshooting is smooth and performance is maintained.
- Continue to improve through education, certifications, and sharing among teams.
Required Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology or another discipline equivalent to it.
- A minimum GPA requirement of 60 percent or higher.
- Solid English communication skills to facilitate interactions in international teams.
Professional and Technical Skills
The applicants must demonstrate an impressive technical ability across cloud concepts and techniques for software engineering.
Essential Competencies:
- Experience proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and the Amazon Web Services ecosystem.
- A solid understanding of cloud computing services like EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and RDS.
- Basic knowledge of containerization, microservices, and integration of CI/CD.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git to manage code.
- The understanding of methodologies for testing software and quality assurance procedures.
- A thorough understanding of the design principles, focusing on scaling and performance.
- A desire to improve technical skills by continuing to improve your skills in the emerging cloud and AI areas.
Certification Requirements
Global certifications are required to be eligible. Any applications that do not have valid qualifications will not be considered. Candidates must have any of the following certificates in relation to the job they want to be considered for:
- Cloud Practitioner: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Global certification)
- Generative AI Practitioner: AWS Certified AI Practitioner (Global certification)
- Cloud Developer: AWS-certified Developer Associate (Global certification)
