This job is focused on creating and implementing automated testing solutions for financial applications that are critical to the banking, payment, lending, insurance and investment areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design and keep test scripts that are automated using functional requirements as well as manual test instances.
- Automate regression test suites and analyse results to ensure that the application is of high quality.
- Validation of banking core workflows, including accounts management, fund transfers and processing credit cards.
- Conduct API testing to ensure that RESTful services are tested using the right tools.
- Monitor and control defects with tools like Jira until they are resolved.
- Run SQL queries to ensure the validation of data at the backend and for transaction accuracy.
- Update test scripts to accommodate changes to the user interface of applications, as well as business.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience using automation frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Rest Assured.
- A working knowledge of Java or Python to create test scripts.
- Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman.
- An understanding of basic of testing mobile devices using Appium.
- Capability to compose and perform SQL queries to validate database data.
- A sharp analytical mind, a keen concentration on details and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experimentation with AI-driven testing methods.
- Previous experience in banking and other financial service applications.
