Deloitte New Off-Campus Recruitment: The Trainee Associate’s NOC job is to ensure that there is continuous operation quality and availability of services throughout every IT application or infrastructure. This role involves continuous monitoring of the systems in real-time and proactive resolution of any issues, as well as collaboration and automation in functional domains to assure stability in crucial enterprise environments.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 all week long your applications and infrastructure with tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Solarwinds, Datadog and Nagios.
- Recognise suspicious events, notify the public, and ensure efficient analysis and resolution of the issue.
- As an Incident Coordinator who oversees calls to bridge, escalates issues and documents resolutions as well as post-incident reviews.
- Auto-generated triage and route tickets that are based on standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while providing high efficiency in response.
- Maintain and maintain an information base as well as a known errors database to help L1 support teams.
- Find out recurring issues and suggest methods for automating the process to improve first-line resolution.
- The report will provide operational KPIs, like the Mean Time to Detection (MTTD) and the Average Time to Resolution (MTTR) tickets as well as ticket volumes and incident information.
- Collaboration with the team within the company of technical experts and other vendors, to ensure constant performance and continuous improvements to uptime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other area related to it (BSc-IT, BCA).
- Minimum of 0-6 months’ work experience in NOC/SOC operations, IT monitoring and incident management with a 24-hour setup.
- Experience with system and application monitoring tools, like Dynatrace, Grafana, Nagios, Solarwinds, Azure Monitor or Datadog.
- Basic understanding of ITSM tools like ServiceNow and JIRA.
- The experience of alert setup, dashboard creation, and monitoring the performance in real-time.
- Experience using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate tasks.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities between nontechnical and tech teammates.
- Experience with Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) and procedures to document.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or similar ITSM/ITIL certifications.
- Experience in managing in-house Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
- An understanding of the Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), together with SLA the practice of ensuring conformity.
- Ability to create or modify automated scripts that allow for the removal of repetitive tasks.
