Role Overview

The job requires hands-on work with machine learning processing, which requires a focus on precision and consistency in performance. The person selected for the job will be able to handle repetitive tasks with dynamic instructions that ensure accuracy and conformity to benchmarks for quality. Every day’s work contributes to improving machine learning techniques, improving the accuracy of automation, as well as guaranteeing reliable results for products.

The position is available on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. This position offers a possibility to work closely with sophisticated data systems and processes across the globe in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the assigned tasks for data collection and labelling with the right tools and procedures.
• Get accurate results and maintain the sameness across different datasets.
• Follow the well-documented guidelines for different kinds of tasks and new product releases.
• The results are reported in a systematic way, and the information is shared to highlight the problem or anomalies to designated channels.
• Collaboration on internal systems of tracking for logging the progress, escalations, as well as resolutions.
• Conduct repetitive but crucial exercises, adjusting to changing demands without compromising the quality of output.
• Be in line with established quality and productivity standards in line with the expectations of the company.
• Make personal deliverables and record them, ask questions promptly via the portal for issues, and finally close inquiries within the bounds of stipulated timeframes. (SLAs).
• Control task priorities efficiently by balancing internal dependencies with deadlines.
• Stay focused and disciplined in a fast-paced environment that demands speed and agility.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university is required.

Language Proficiency:
Candidates must have excellent English communication skills, and also demonstrate proficiency in writing, reading and speaking. Advanced English proficiency at CEFR B2 or C1 is necessary.

Technical Competencies:

• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A basic comprehension of digital workflows, categorisation of data and protocols for documentation.
• Experience with productivity trackers as well as Task management systems.

Behavioural Attributes:

• A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to detect and rectify the underlying issues.
• A strong self-control when performing repeated or high-volume activities.
• Effective communication skills to escalate technical issues and report on task results.
• Flexibility to work on projects that change in response to changes to the product or project.
• The ability to meet targets regularly with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the field of data labelling and annotation or quality assurance of AI/ML-related training datasets.
• A familiarity with U.S. cultural nuances helps to improve understanding of context in data validation.
• Flexibility to work in shifts on rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or weekends according to the project’s requirements.
• Exposure to large-scale digital content operations or e-commerce platforms.
