The job involves the development of high-end, secure, reliable and scalable applications for businesses across various fields. Candidates will be part of teams that are multi-functional and agile, and will gain a deep knowledge of creating enterprise-level apps and will also be exploring new platforms and technologies.
As an Associate Software Engineer, this job concentrates on the newest Java development, UI technologies, microservices and cloud platforms. The candidate selected will be responsible for developing solutions that reflect Xoriant’s quality engineering and ingenuity technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test apps using Core Java, frameworks, as well as the most up-to-date UI technologies such as React and Angular.
- Manage and create microservices that are cloud-based as RESTful APIs.
- Continuous Integration and Delivery processes that follow agile processes.
- Write concise, effective, reusable and reusable code by using the correct documentation.
- Team up with technical teams in order to study requirements, design efficient structures that can be scaled, and increase performance.
- Participate in peer review sessions of code, Debugging sessions, as well as technical discussions about improvements.
- Learn and apply the latest technologies, such as DevOps, CloudOps, and AI-powered tools.
- Stay up-to-date on the basics of software design, as well as data structures and algorithms.
- Be prepared to deal with changing demands and constantly changing issues in a constantly changing working environment.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Expertise in Core Java, OOPs concepts and information structures.
- An understanding of basic CSS, HTML, along JavaScript. A basic understanding of React and Angular is highly recommended.
- Experience with non-relational and relational databases like SQL or NoSQL.
- Experience the basics of cloud computing with Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- A thorough understanding of SDLC basics and agile methodology.
- A strong ability to think logically and an analytical mind, as well as the ability to communicate.
- Passion for technology, a desire to learn about new tools and the capability to participate in group-based projects.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech. M.Tech and MCA degrees that focus on Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or related areas.
- Students who belong to the 2025 cohort that has graduated are strongly encouraged to pursue a formal program.
