About the Role

The role of Software Engineer Intern is focused on backend engineering and DevOps excellence. This role is ideal for people who are interested in developing APIs as well as managing cloud infrastructure and automating the development workflows. The duration of the internship is six months and is conducted in the office at the Noida office. Interns selected for the program will collaborate closely with the engineering team across a range of technical areas, including Backend Architecture, API Development and scalable deployments in cloud platforms.

This job is perfect for students who will graduate in either 2025 or 2026. It is particularly suitable for students who want to improve their skills in the hands-on area while pursuing API creation, containerization and continuous delivery techniques. An internship that is successful could result in a pre-placement opportunity contingent on performance.

Responsibilities

• Create, design as well and maintain systems for backends as well as RESTful APIs with Python and the latest frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Participate in discussions on architecture, Performance optimisation, architecture discussions, and the planning of deployment.
• Integrate dispersed services and improve communication between databases to maximise effectiveness.
• Automate release cycles with tools for CI/CD as well as common DevOps methods.
• Utilise either relational or NoSQL databases to ensure the accuracy of your data as well as the optimal performance of queries.
• Work together with other teams on container creation and management with the help of Docker as well as Kubernetes.
• Help with Cloud infrastructure monitoring and deployment services that are running using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Write reliable, clean and well-documented code using top security and programming best practices.
• Test, debug and increase system performance by using effective strategies for debugging and problem-solving.
• You will work closely with your colleagues within an office environment to provide flexible, high-quality software solutions.

Key Requirements

• The position is available for a full-time six-month program that begins in December or the beginning of January.
• It is comfortable working from the Noida office, seven days per week.
• A solid base in Python programming and confidence in working on Linux command lines. Linux command line.
• Experience in developing APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
• A thorough understanding of the backend concepts, as well as REST architecture and formats for data serialisation, such as JSON.
• A familiarity with tools for containerization, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms like AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS or their counterparts in GCP, as well as Azure.
• A glimpse into the workings of multiple databases that work with both SQL and NoSQL.
• Positive mindset for learning and a desire to solve problems, along with the capability to take on tasks on your own.

Desired Skills

• Proficient debugging and performance profiling capabilities.
• The understanding of CI/CD tools, like Jenkins, as well as GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking and concepts of distributed systems.
• Be aware of best security practices when it comes to deploying services on the cloud.
• Collaboration, communication, and version control with Git-based workflows.
