The position of QA Engineer at Zoho requires detailed manual and automation tests to verify that the software is of high quality throughout all phases of development. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough tests, both automated and manual, to test the effectiveness and efficiency of the applications.
- Create large data sets to perform stress and endurance tests for systems while ensuring the precision of the back-end process.
- Validate integrity and data flow between the interface and the layer of the database.
- Work with support teams, developers and product managers in order to find issues, reproduce and then fix issues with software.
- Record test cases and keep complete reports of issues, resolutions, and the results of tests.
- Re-test the fixes and verify the stability of code modifications prior to deploying software.
- Make sure that you adhere to the test procedures for software and keep testing coverage across all the workflows and features.
- Examine system logs and security settings during load and performance testing sessions.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement practices in testing methods.
- Help support new product launches by ensuring the release of high-quality releases on time.
Skills and Technical Requirements
- Experienced in manual as well as automation testing methods.
- Expertise in Java programming, with a thorough knowledge of data types, variables flows control statements, operators and functions.
- An understanding of exception handling, File operations, exception handling, and concepts of object-oriented programming.
- Practical experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL, as well as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with popular automation or performance test tools, such as Selenium, as well as JMeter.
- Attention to detail is essential when designing and executing a test plan.
- The ability to recognise performance bottlenecks and then collaborate in resolving the issues.
- The ability to solve problems logically and analytically is a must. Skills.

Educational Background and Experience
- A bachelor’s level degree is required with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
