To further strengthen this idea, Sony Research India is providing the Full-Stack Developer Internship (Remote) designed for ambitious developers looking to learn about actual software engineering practices. This program gives you the chance to collaborate on applications for production as well as work with skilled engineers in a multi-national research environment.
Role Overview
This role of a Full Stack Development Intern provides hands-on experience in frontend engineering, backend development and cloud deployment. Interns can utilize modern tools and frameworks, participate in everyday development tasks, and gain the best practices for scaling application development. The program is designed for students who are motivated and new graduates looking to improve their technical skills while working on impactful projects under the guidance of a professional.
Key Responsibilities
- collaborate with engineers in designing and developing applications that meet the objectives of the project.
- Develop the frontend (React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (Django FastAPI, Flask) development tasks.
- Write efficient and clean code to identify issues and optimise applications to improve performance and speed of response.
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate them with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Use containerization tools like Docker and the basic deployment workflows for cloud services like AWS..
- Engage actively in daily coding ,documenting, testing, and team discussion.
- Learn about the latest workflows for development, including Git-based version control as well as collaborative programming techniques.
- Participate in research-driven initiatives by using innovative technology solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Candidates must pursue or have earned a B.Tech or BSc qualification with a major in Computer Science, Electronics, Data Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Applications or closely related fields.
- Excellent coding skills, proficient in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience hands-on using front-end technologies like React.js, HTML5, CSS3 and component-based architectures.
- Expertise in the backend framework, like Django, Flask, or FastAPI, to build solid services.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL) and the best practices for designing services that can be scaled.
- A familiarity with cloud deployment processes and tools, specifically Docker for containerization.
- Solid foundation in version control systems like Git, unit testing, debugging and optimization of performance.
Preferred Skills
- Contributions to Open Source, such as personal projects or previous internships, that demonstrate the practicality of.
- Experience with the latest backend and frontend tools, including Next.js, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with cloud-native services available on AWS, which include serverless computing, storage solutions, and monitoring software.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines as well as agile development methods.
Internship Details
- Locale: Remote, within India.
- Durée: 6 months, beginning in October 2025.
- Typ: Full-time, paid internship.
- Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (IST).
