TCS Biggest Mass Hiring Drive: TCS HackQuest Season 10 invites eager students across India to test their cybersecurity abilities through an exciting competition that aims to discover and develop the next generation of digital security leaders. The annually held Capture the Flag (CTF) contest is a thrilling opportunity that allows participants to face real-life cybersecurity issues, compete for a share of the prize, and create career-defining opportunities through the TCS Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence. For students graduating in 2026, the contest promises a challenging six-hour challenge, certificates, exclusive products, and the opportunity to meet with the top industry professionals. The registration deadline is the 18th of November 2025, with Round 1 scheduled for the 13th of December 2025, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM IST.

Eligibility Criteria
The contest is open to students in recognized universities, colleges or educational institutes in India who will graduate in 2026, with the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
- Master of Technology (M.Tech)
- Master of Engineering (M.E.)
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.)
- Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.)
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc./B.S.)
- Master of Science (M.Sc./M.S.)
Participants must present a valid TCS NextStep Reference ID (CT/DT number) to sign up. Participants who do not have IDs are able to join TCS NextStep. TCS NextStep portal under the “IT” section (not BPS) at TCS NextStep. TCS reserve the right to check the eligibility of applicants using relevant documents. The contest will be declared invalid when participation or conduct violates the applicable rules.
Contest Structure
TCS HackQuest Season 10 unfolds in a variety of stages:
- First Round: The Round 1 is a 6-hour online CTF test on the 13th of December 2025, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM IST. Participants will take on cybersecurity tasks to test their technical skills.
- Second Round: The top performers in Round 1 move on to a tougher competition.
- Round 3: Participants of Round 2 have been invited to participate in an in-person round. The top 10 contestants are competing for the Grand Finale for prizes and recognition.
The CTF format mimics actual cybersecurity scenarios, which require the ability to hack ethically, problem-solving, and digital defence. The challenges range from beginner level to advanced levels, which ensures that all levels of expertise are covered.
Prizes and Rewards
The top 10 players at the Grand Finale will receive:
- Cash prizes amounting to INR 5 Lakhs.
- Awards of merit for all the top performers.
- Exclusive TCS merchandise.
- Proposal for job offers (Ninja, Digital, or Prime) based on the selection criteria of TCS.
- Opportunities to work and collaborate at the TCS Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence.

How to Register
To be eligible, candidates must have an active TCS NextStep reference ID (CT/DT number). The steps to follow are:
- Visit TCS NextStep.
- Register under the category ‘IT’ (not the BPS) to get a CT/DT number.
- Completion of the HackQuest registration by the deadline of November 18 2025.
