The SAP MM Consultant position focuses on the use of expertise in purchasing, vendor management and inventory management processes to provide powerful SAP solutions. Successful candidates will work with cross-functional teams, which include production, quality, planning and logistics, to improve business processes by using SAP MM. This job is ideally suited to individuals with 1-3 years of professional experience who are looking to move to a rewarding career in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Document and analyze business needs in relation to inventory, procurement and the management of warehouses.
• Configure and install SAP MM modules that are in line with the client’s specific requirements.
• Implement end-to-end SAP MM processes that include procurement order management, evaluation of vendors and material movements.
• Facilitate workshops with the participants to identify the requirements and give functional specifications.
• Collaboration together with SAP SD, PP, QM and WM team members to guarantee seamless business process integration.
• Assist with testing, education and post-implementation assistance in support of the SAP MM solution.
• Produce MIS reports and conduct data analysis to aid in decision-making.
• Keep abreast of SAP MM developments and contribute to process efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of Domain experience with any one or more of these areas:
  • purchasing & Vendor Management: Expertise in the comparison of quotations processing, PO/contract processing, cost of landing, as well as evaluation of vendors, and MIS reporting.
  • Inventory Management & Warehouse Activities: Understanding of ABC categorization, physical movement, and stock counts. The MIS reporting.
  • Manufacturing environment: Experience in direct and indirect purchases of goods or services, or coordination with quality, planning, production, logistics, or planning teams.
• Academic Requirements:
  • No backlogs in active use.
  • Batches eligible: 2021, 2022 or 2024 passing outs (Note: 2025 pass-outs ineligible).
  • Any level, with an emphasis on understanding the fundamental business procedures.
• Mandatory Requirements:
  • An active DigiLocker account tied via an Aadhar number, as well as an active mobile number.
  • Experience with SAP ECC 6 and S/4 HANA is an advantage, but it isn’t required.
