Key Responsibilities

The Order to Cash Operations New Associate will handle routine tasks related to cash application processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Specific responsibilities include:

• Transaction Reconciliation: Process and reconcile customer payments, ensuring accurate application of funds to outstanding invoices.
• Cash Application Management: Apply unapplied cash, manage suspense accounts, and finalize transactions from payment receipt to completion.
• Query Resolution: Address client inquiries related to cash applications, coordinating effectively to ensure timely resolutions.
• Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and enhance working capital efficiency.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth operations.
• Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records of transactions and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

This role involves working as an individual contributor within a team, following established guidelines and receiving detailed instructions for daily tasks and new assignments. The scope of work is focused, and decisions primarily impact individual tasks. Candidates should be prepared to work in rotational shifts as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: Any Graduation degree (B.Com or MBA in Finance preferred).
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Order to Cash processes or cash application processing.
• Technical Skills:
  • 20% of the team requires experience with Oracle; the remaining 80% should have experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with Order to Cash assessments and tools is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Machinery industries is preferred but not mandatory.
• Core Competencies:
