A C++ Developer will be a crucial part of developing, analysing and testing designed information systems using software as the principal component. This job requires real-time applications that facilitate the contribution of financial data and ensure seamless integration and high performance. Candidates will work with cross-functional teams, be part of agile development processes and contribute to new solutions that contribute to the development of world-class financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Develop, design and integrate applications utilising C++ and STL, including moderate to complicated business logic to integrate new content into financial platforms.
• Sprint Planned Planning: Work with team members during the sprint planning to determine and analyse the development requirements, and ensure that they are aligned with the project’s goals.
• App Support: Help customers with their questions by making any necessary adjustments to current applications that offer information on finance products.
• Automated Test: Conduct automated unit tests to make sure that applications comply with the needs of both business and clients, providing reliable and robust software.
• Technical Assistance: Help with technical issues for the operations team and other teams working on development to ensure the smooth functioning of the applications.
• Administration Maintenance: Support changes to infrastructure, like server upgrades and post-change tests to ensure that there is no impact on the delivery of content.
• Documentation: Maintain and create the user’s documentation for each component to guarantee long-term stability.
• Problem-solving: Provide solutions to problems or improvements to software and receive assistance from senior developers, adhering to the industry standards.
• Status Updates: Updates are provided regularly regarding individual projects to ensure that there is transparency and alignment with team goals.
• Group Participation: Engage actively in team meetings within the organisation and discussions about status to aid the project’s success.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in software development with a good understanding of C++ and STL, with a focus on intermediate to complicated business logic.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in C++ programming, including Visual C++ (VC++), and proficiency in creating real-time applications.
• Methods of Development: Understanding of software development practices, including agile methodologies, as well as adhering to the coding standards.
• Test Skills: Experience in Automated unit testing to guarantee high-quality outputs.
• Problem-Solving: The ability to propose solutions for software improvement or to resolve issues under the direction of senior engineers.
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication abilities to update status and work effectively with teams.
• Documentation: Ability to produce an easy and concise user manual for components that have been developed.
• Ability to adapt: The ability to be under the direct supervision of a supervisor while developing in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

Working Hours

The job demands flexibility to be able to work a 9-hour shift that runs from 11 AM until 11 PM IST in order to meet the demands of global business.
