A Junior Frontend Engineer job provides a unique possibility for recently graduated or professionals in the early stages of their careers to start the career path of web development with ReactJS as well as Node.js. As a student under the supervision of experienced developers, this position includes creating as well as testing and maintaining user interfaces, as well as providing backend support. This position gives the opportunity to experience hands-on with the latest web technologies in a cooperative, growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding Development: Write, test and debug efficient, clean ReactJS components as well as Node.js code for the latest features and improvements, with assistance from the senior team members.
- Bug fixing: Find and fix problems with the software to make sure that the software functions smoothly.
- Testing: Be a part of unit-testing and assist with integration testing to keep high-quality code.
- Learn & Growth: Participate in continuous learning, incorporating new technologies, tools and best practices through mentoring and self-study.
- Collaboration: Collaborate in collaboration with the UX/UI designer, senior developers, as well as QA teams to meet project specifications and create effective solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required with a major in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another related technical area.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in web development or significant academic projects that involve ReactJS as well as Node.js.
- ReactJS Skills: A basic knowledge of ReactJS, which includes props, component states, and basic hooks.
- Node.js Fundamentals: A basic understanding of Node.js to run server-side JavaScript, which includes creating or accessing basic APIs.
- JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript.
- Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design concepts.
- API Interaction: Understanding of the consumption of RESTful APIs.
- AI Coding: A familiarity with AI-powered code generation instruments (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and transformer-based code generation) is a benefit.
- Testing: Basic understanding of the concepts of unit testing.
- Version Control: Experience with Git to control versions.
- Problem-Solving: A determination to be a student and an ability to overcome challenges.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise oral and written communication skills and an ability to inquire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to state-owned libraries for management like Redux as well as Zustand through personal or academic projects.
- A familiarity with building tools like Webpack as well as Vite.
- Basic understanding of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or container-sizing tools such as Docker.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of techniques for optimising performance.
