Role Overview
The Associate Software Engineer job is focused on developing, designing and implementing solutions based on technology to meet the needs of clients. Candidates will be involved throughout the entire cycle of software development from conception to deployment across different technology areas. This job requires a thirst for ingenuity, a solid technical background, and an inclination to deliver top-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software programs with programming languages like Java, .NET, Python or SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement end-to-end solutions using cloud-native as well as open-source technologies.
- Be part of agile processes for development that ensure the timely delivery of reliable and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to testing, debugging and improving code to ensure it meets high-quality standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology, such as blockchain technology, IoT, AI, and DevSecOps, to create new outcomes.
- Participate in projects that involve clients and ensure that solutions are in line with the company’s goals and technical requirements.
Technology Domains
This position offers the chance to specialise in one or one or:
- Digital Technologies: Create custom cloud-native solutions by using full-stack technology (Java, .NET, SharePoint, Power Platform), UX/UI design, as well as emerging technologies such as blockchain IoT, AR/VR, as well as blockchain.
- Testing Solutions: ensure the quality of software by conducting functional, technical and user acceptance tests and enhancing products by finding and fixing problems.
- Analytical and Data: Make use of the knowledge and expertise gained in business intelligence, data management, advanced analytics, as well as AI to offer actionable insight across all industries.
- Oracle and SAP: Helps with the entire project execution process using Oracle, IBM Maximo, or SAP S/4HANA. It streamlines the supply chain, finance, along risk-transformation processes.

Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or in IT, Computer Science, or circuit branches, with at least 60 marks and no backlogs.
- Experience with best practices in software development and the lifecycle of software development.
- Experience with programming languages, such as Java, .NET, Python or databases such as SQL, Oracle, or Teradata.
- Experience in an internship program that is relevant to the technology area is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for particulars, and an agile attitude.
- Multitasking ability, adjust to the team’s dynamics and promote collaboration.
- Interest in learning, as well as curiosity and an approach to innovation that is digital-first.
