When you join the Information Security team, you’ll be a part of the Salesforce security and compliance processes. The job entails being an expert advisor to customers and dealing with their security concerns using the transparency and expertise of a technical expert. From managing audits to creating documents for customers, you’ll contribute to Salesforce’s standing as a leader in reliability and creativity. This position allows you to work alongside cross-functional teams, make improvements in processes, and be exposed to security challenges that are real-world in a global, on-demand world.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and potential clients in completing security and compliance questions to ensure clear and precise answers.
- Update and maintain customer-facing documentation on compliance, security or safety, like white papers, so that they reflect the most current standards and best practices.
- Conduct security audits for customers from end to end by coordinating across all different time zones to guarantee smooth execution.
- Offer actionable insight and recommendations to the Product Management team based on the feedback of customers and their requests.
- Create and keep a thorough security and compliance database to assist sales and Customer Success teams across several Salesforce services.
- Assist in the development of security and compliance training programmes for internal teams to improve their skills.
- Documentation to support evidence to ensure readiness for audits for clients, while following strict deadline specifications.
- Enhance process performance by leveraging Salesforce’s platform to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- As a team member, you can work both independently and in collaboration and contribute to the goals of the team while juggling personal duties.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor level degree is required with a major in Computer Science or a related technology field (or equivalent).
- Graduate, post-graduate or diplomas or diploma Information Security or Cyber Security.
- 3+ years of experience in the field of supporting RFPs/RFIs and RFPs for large clients with a focus on compliance and security in a global, on-demand system.
- Experience of 0-3 years in managing Application Security, Risk Assessments and Cloud Security Questionnaires.
- A thorough knowledge of cloud security certificates like CSA CAIQ, SOC 2, ISO 27001 or PCI DSS.
- Great organisational skills and capability to manage strict time frames in a hectic environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to ensure professional and clear customer interactions.
- Expertise in research and analysis to tackle difficult compliance and security challenges.
