Key Responsibilities
- Incident response: Rapidly recognise how to analyse, respond, and react to cybersecurity-related incidents to reduce the impact and prevent repeat incidents.
- Threat mitigation: Implement strategies to secure your systems and protect sensitive information, and decrease the risk of being vulnerable.
- System analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of systems to identify vulnerabilities and security threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in order to ensure cohesive resolution of incidents and system improvement.
- Documentation: Keep meticulous notes of any incidents, the responses, as well as mitigation strategies to help in future reference and for compliance.
- Continuous learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber-attacks, tools and technology to increase the capabilities of incident response.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of the hardware, software, and network fundamentals. A working knowledge of the programming language (e.g., Python, C++, or other languages) is an advantage.
- Problem-Solving: Skills in analytical thinking to solve complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication abilities to work with colleagues and communicate conclusions.
- Collaboration: Ability to function on your own and effectively participate in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to adapt: A willingness to discover new technologies and be able to adapt to the changing requirements of a project.
Preferred Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Know-how of security tools and Microsoft technology, and incident management frameworks.

Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech or BE in a Tier-1 college.
- Experience: Two years or less relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT or a related area.
- Certifications: Not required but highly recommended (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate).
