Role Overview: Research Associate – BCG Vantage
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to join our Asia-Pacific Global Research Organisation (GRO) team in Gurgaon, Haryana. In this position, you’ll take a leading role in assisting BCG’s proposals for engagements with clients as well as internal initiatives by providing superior secondary research. Your work will directly contribute to the knowledge base of BCG, which will enable BCG’s teams to deliver innovative solutions to our clients across the globe.
In your role as a Research Associate, you’ll conduct studies across a range of subjects, such as commercial trends, as well as multi-industry insight and economic research. The ability to synthesise and present results in concise, clear formats (e.g. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is crucial for meeting deadlines tight and exceeding the expectations of clients. Additionally, you will contribute to the capture of knowledge, documentation and the development of research-based products such as news alerts and company profiles.

Key Responsibilities
- Secondary Research: Collect data, analyse, and synthesise data from public, commercial and open-source platforms, including macroeconomic, industrial, company commodities, and trade data.
- Offer Actionable Insights: Research findings are packaged into clear, precise and timely outputs that are tailored to the requirements of clients and projects.
- Collaboration with teams: Collaborate closely with BCG stakeholders to comprehend research goals, develop efficient strategies, and present relevant information.
- Support Knowledge Development: Contribute to the development of research-related products and documentation that will enhance BCG’s knowledge base.
- Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Maintain the highest standards of precision and focus on particulars in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- Engage with Outsourcing Partners: Guide researchers from outside and carry out checks to assure consistency and trustworthiness.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for people with a passion for a team-based, rapid-paced work environment and are eager to learn within the BCG’s apprentice culture. The ideal candidate has:
- Education Background: A degree from an undergraduate institution (preferably in economics, business engineering, science, or the sciences).
- Experience: 0-1 year or less of relevant experience in the field; new graduates with a desire to research are invited to apply.

- Analytical thinking: Ability to analyse data, synthesise findings and efficiently package findings.
