1. Lead Backend Developer (Java)
As an lead Backend developer As a Lead Backend Developer, you’ll create and expand the core systems that run BHIM’s transaction engine. You’ll use Java microservices, microservices, and cloud-based technologies to ensure that our platform can handle millions of transactions with no sweat.
- Responsibilities:
- Create and build efficient, high-performance backend systems that can be scaled.
- Optimise APIs to ensure efficient throughput and low latency.
- Collaborate with teams of cross-functional members to implement new features.
- Train junior developers and promote the best practices in programming and architecture.
- Skills:
- 7plus years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Leadership and problem-solving skills are strong.
2. Quality Analyst (SDET – Automation Tester)
We have Quality Analysts make sure that BHIM offers a seamless user experience. As an SDET, you’ll develop automated testing frameworks that will catch bugs before they make it to production, and ensure that our platform is reliable even when under a lot of stress.
- Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Automation testing frameworks.
- Create test scripts for functional as well as regression, and performance tests.
- Work with developers to find and address issues before they become a problem.
- Make sure you test the coverage of critical payment workflows.
- Skills:
- Four years or more of automation testing experience (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python and Java.
- A working knowledge of pipelines for CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins.
- A sharp analytical ability and a keen concentration on details.

3. DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineers are the foundation of our infrastructure by automating deployments and making sure the systems remain operational and running. If you’re interested in streamlining CI/CD pipelines and improving the cloud’s infrastructure, then this could be the stage.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments.
- Automated infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
- Optimise cloud infrastructure to reduce costs and improve performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues efficiently and with minimum downtime.
- Skills:
- 5plus years of experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and the CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Know-how in cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise with programming (Bash, Python).
- Experiential experience with monitors such as Prometheus and Grafana.
4. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
In your role as the SRE, you’ll ensure that the platform of BHIM is secure, scalable, and safe. You’ll manage automation, coding and incident response in order to keep our systems secure despite the massive volume of transactions.
- Responsibilities:
- Improve system performance and reliability.
- Automate recovery and incident response procedures.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to prevent repetition.
- Work with developers to create reliable systems.
- Skills:
- Five years or more of experience, 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps positions.
- Excellent coding skills (Python, Go, or Java).
- Expertise in observation instruments (ELK Datadog, Stack). Datadog).
- Experience with distributed systems and the art of chaos engineering.
5. Frontend Developer (iOS Developer)
The Frontend Development Team develop user-friendly, intuitive interfaces for the BHIM iOS application. You’ll create fluid, responsive interfaces that allow digital payments to be seamless for millions of customers.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the BHIM’s iOS application with Swift.
- Optimise your UI/UX to improve performance and accessibility.
- Work with designers to create perfect designs.
- Make sure that apps are compatible, and ensure app compatibility across iOS versions and other devices.
- Skills:
- More than 4 years of working experience in iOS development (Swift and Objective-C).
- Acquaintance familiarity UIKit, SwiftUI, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of the mobile app’s architecture.
- Passion for creating delightful user experiences.
6. Network and Infrastructure Engineer
The Network and Infra Engineers ensure that BHIM’s infrastructure is safe, scalable, and efficient. You’ll create and manage the networks that keep our platform secure and dependable.
- Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain an efficient, high-availability and secure network infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimise the performance of the network.
- Use best practices in security for transactions and data.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues.
- Skills:
- Five years or more of network engineering experience.
- Experience in cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and networking protocols.
- Understanding of firewalls and security frameworks.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
