Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Problem Solve: Identify and solve software problems that ensure system runs effectively.
- Functional Test Planning: Plan, create and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of the software meets business criteria.
- Work with Teams: Collaborate with developers, testers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and develop complex technical solutions.
- Document and Report Software Bugs: Keep accurate records of software issues, resolutions, and testing results through the use of defect tracking applications.
- Support to End-Users: Telephonically assistance end-users in a professional manner and within time parameters.
- Contribute with Software Solutions: Help develop, test and implement software solutions that improves system performance.

Must-Have Skills
- Functional Test Planning Skills: Must be proficient with writing and executing test plans that validate software functions.
- Software Testing Techniques: Knowledge about the different forms of software testing, such as manual and automated test strategies.
- Test Case Design and Execution: Ability to design and then thoroughly execute comprehensive test cases to identify defects.
- Tracking Tools: Experience with some tracking tools i.e JIRA, Bugzilla or similar issue tracking and management tools.
- Software Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of frameworks i.e. Selenium, TestNG or similar tools to perform the testing efficiently.
Good-to-Have Skills
Although not essential, it would be best if you are familiar with:
- Fundamental understanding of programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or DevOps principles.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills for working across international teams.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: 15 years of full time education (any Graduation / Post Graduation from AICTE/UGC approved institute in India) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning or software support. New graduates with relevant intern or project experience are welcome to apply.
- Location: Willing to work from our Bengaluru office.
